Located in Dalkeith on one of Perth's premier riverside streets, of Victoria Avenue, this charity home received considerable interest before it opened in late 2005. The strong interest resulted in an Offer and Acceptance for the sale of the property before the official date of the home's opening to the public, much to the delight of the charity.
The combination of blue chip address, very worthy charity, astute design and a builder with a strong reputation for completing outstanding homes no doubt contributed to the success of the sale.
Designed by Eames Architects Pty Ltd, the home extends east-west through the long axis of a rectangular block with the river to the rear of the site. A swimming pool is sited on the northern side of the house to receive maximum exposure to the sun with many of the interior spaces either relating to the pool or river views.
