Corner landmark
The reputation that Zorzi Builders have earned over past decades is that their homes are exceptional for workmanship.
Step out of a vehicle undercover at the front door of this home and look upwards. The detail in the cedar ceiling is obviously the work of a master tradesman who does not hold to the view 'that people seldom look upwards'. Instead of a simple lining to the ceiling of the porte cochere, the timber has been mitred in line with the centre of the double entry doors to create an arrow head visual that directs the gaze to the front doors.
Inside the front doors, the craftsmanship continues. The timber floor immediately commands your attention, for the high gloss intricate parquet work. The two storey void to the entry is flanked by an office, formal lounge and formal dining and sweeping stair to the upper level. What may not be obvious at first glance is the string on the stringer of the stairs. A delicately carved projecting line of timber moulding follows the upwards sweep of the stairs and continues around the edge of the slab.
Details that may not be immediately obvious - but add to the overall feel of a quality home.
