Although the home is spacious with generous sized passageways that will easily allow wheel chair access, some of the doorways have cavity sliding doors which glide back into a recess between walls and almost disappear.
The use of large double cavity sliders at the cinema entrance allows the room to have multiple uses. Its location near the office could offer the occasional meeting to adjourn to a more casual space for light refreshments. Otherwise the rooms is the perfect location for enjoyment of a favourite movie projected onto the big screen or to listen to every instrument in an orchestral piece.
The decor in the cinema has gained early notoriety amongst visitors. The walls in black with white highlights carry the colour theme of the home and become the perfect backdrop for a movie experience without reflected light from the projector. What stops onllokers for a closer inspection is the texture of the walls. At first impression it looks like micro mosaics, but turns out to be wallpaper. No doubt this will start a new fashion trend too.
Down the passageway, past the elevator is the family, kitchen and dining rooms that overlook the rear yard with its manicured lawn and swimming pool with water sprays.
