2009 Zorzi Builders Appealathon Home
Step inside the home through the double doors at the entry and the space inside is voluminous. One can be forgiven for the momentary confusion of the senses as there is so much to take in. The forward view is of a wide stairway flanked by a stainless steel and glass ballustrade leading to the upper level. The ceiling in this two storey void may well start a new trend. It is of timber veneer panels in large scale rectangualr format. Surrounding the entry doors from floor to ceiling are marble tiles that on closer inspection reveal an amount of fossils within each tile. At this early point of the inspection of the home - the work of master craftsmen becomes clear. The tiles have a negative joint and at the junction of the external corners - the edges have been skillfully hand shaped to become rounded.
Within the right angled shape of the stairs is an elevator with the two storied side of the shaft that faces the front door a work of art. Within a niche lined in timber veneer is a play of mirrored glass.
From the entry there is an adjacent office, theatre, passageway to the laundry that connects to the garage or the choice to progress onward to the living areas and kitchen.
The office has extensive built in cabinets with a leather topped desk and a panorama of the courtyard garden through a picture window.
